ABOUT US
A Palace of Mirrors, Persian flavours and warm hospitality.
Ghasr Ayeneh means “Palace of Mirrors”. Ghasr means palace and Ayeneh means mirror. The name comes to life as soon as you step inside, with detailed mirrorwork inspired by the Persian art of Ayeneh-kari.
Ayeneh-kari has long been part of Iranian decorative art and architecture, seen in historic palaces, shrines and grand interiors across Iran. Small pieces of mirror are carefully arranged by hand into geometric patterns, catching the light from different angles and giving a room a sense of depth, movement and sparkle. That same character can be seen throughout Ghasr Ayeneh, from the mirrored ceiling above to the warm details around the dining room.
But Ghasr Ayeneh is not only about the way it looks. The same care, tradition and attention to detail continue at the table. Our menu celebrates authentic Persian cooking, with fragrant saffron rice, freshly grilled kebabs, traditional stews, classic starters and familiar dishes that have been enjoyed in Iranian homes for generations.
In Persian culture, food and hospitality naturally belong together. A table is a place for family, friends and guests to gather, talk, share and celebrate. That is the feeling we want to bring to every visit, whether you are joining us for a family dinner, meeting friends, celebrating a special occasion or trying Persian cuisine for the first time.
Located in Ealing, West London, Ghasr Ayeneh brings together the flavours of Iran with an interior shaped by Persian art and craftsmanship. From the mirrors overhead to the food served at the table, every part of the restaurant is connected by the same idea: to share a genuine taste of Persian culture in a place that feels welcoming, memorable and full of character.
